Sabra stepped into her first primary ballet class when she was three years old and hasn't looked back since. She received the majority of her formal training from the Spiral Dance Co. competitive program, and trained with Lux. Dance Company and Harbour Dance Centre post-secondary. She was very fortunate to have danced at institutions across North America and has had the opportunity to train, perform, and compete in Vancouver, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, Las Vegas, and Miami. Her performance and choreography credits include The Lovers Cabaret, Disney, Pacific National Exhibition, Fionn, Star Captains, St. Paul’s Hospital Foundation, Simon Fraser University Dance and Film Departments, Fuze Entertainment, Vancouver Film School, The Main Event, and more. Sabra graduated as Valedictorian of the Langley Fine Arts School Dance Department. The program was what initially sparked her interest in teaching and choreographing, and provided her with the beginnings of a background in anatomy and dance history. This has helped her to develop a broad academic and cultural understanding of dance that she continues to cultivate. Although her career has pulled her in many different directions, Sabra has always been grateful to share her love for movement with other artists in any way that she can and trains dancers of all ages and levels across the Lower Mainland. It is important to her to foster a positive learning environment for all types of students; Sabra strives for excellence in dance, but also wants to help young artists to cultivate a relationship with dance that is sustainable.
